Manuel Schmitz has travelled every road in the city of Brussels, across 2.900km and 567 outings. Thanks to his natural, wandering senses of spirit and curiosity, he can describe Brussels in full detail, having already examined it in his first book Monumental: Macht und Architektur in Brüssel. Now he writes a "love letter" to the city in a new comedy about a man in Brussels who has lost his glasses during the apocalypse and must travel across the Capital of Europe to claim a new pair. .​
